3 KISSES

Tish Meeks (lead vocals, guitar) launched 3 Kisses in Austin, TX, in January 2004 and since that time the band has released 3 CDs, performed hundreds of live shows and played for crowds as large as 50,000.

3 Kisses jumps from one high energy style to another with traces of just about every cool female-fronted rock band of the last 20 years. 3 Kisses’ live performance has been called ‘freakin’ explosive’ and Tish Meeks has been referred to as ‘a ball of fire on stage.’ An idiosyncratic combination of alternative, pop, rock and punk filled with catchy guitar hooks and introspective lyrics, the heartfelt vocals and positive party vibe make the songs of 3 Kisses addicting. Tumultuous lyrics delivered in a zany, upbeat fashion have become a 3 Kisses trademark.

In addition to their regular tour schedule, 3 Kisses supports breast cancer research by performing at Susan G. Komen Races and Relay for Life events and donating a portion of their CD sales to the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and the American Cancer Society. Tish’s original story, Legacy, about the loss of her mother to breast cancer, appeared in Jack Canfield & Mark Victor Hansen’s Chicken Soup for the Recovering Soul in December 2004.

3 Kisses has been featured multiple times on the FOX 7 Morning Show in Austin, TX, WOAI-NBC in San Antonio, TX, KTRK-ABC in Houston, TX, KLBJ 93.7FM in Austin, Indie-Music.com, Female Musician Magazine, One Way Magazine, Origivation Magazine, The Macon Telegraph, The Brenham Banner Press, The College Station Eagle, EDGE Magazine, The Austin American Statesman and the Atlantic Monthly. They were inducted into the Independent Artist Registry in 2006: www.independentartistregistry.com/3kisses.

The band premiered their first music video Yellow in September 2004, released their debut CD Wings in November 2004, their sophomore album, It All Comes Down To Me in June 2006 and their 3rd CD, Nut Job in May 2007. 3 Kisses has toured up and down the East Coast and has plans to visit other areas of the US in 2007. Other notable performances include multiple showcases during SXSW in Austin, Millennium Music Conference in Harrisburg, PA, Garage Stock 2005 in Salem, MO, Independent Music Conference in Philadelphia, PA, Dewey Beach Music Conference in Dewey Beach, DE and Austin’s Heart of Texas Quadruple Bypass Festival. 3 Kisses is sponsored and/or endorsed by Jägermeister, Paul Reed Smith Guitars, Dunlop, Dirtbag Clothing, Daisy Rock Guitars, Miller Lite, Coffin Case, GoGirls Music, Texas Independent Musicians, Music Gorilla, Rockin' Moms, Old Dog Products and the Independent Artist Registry.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING:

"I got a chance to hear 3 Kisses do a rare acoustic set. They completely owned the audience with their punkish 'cuddle-angst'. Their songs are based on fun and intelligent mock anger--pierced tongue in cheek anthems to annoyance that everyone in the audience could relate to and smile about. Heads bobbed and we sang along to the choruses we were hearing for the first time--that's as good as any show can get." - Dan Workman, SUGARHILL STUDIOS

"3 KISSES is fronted by the kinetic Tish Meeks who no guitar, mic stand or stage can contain. This band packs more energy into a 3-minute song than all the WMD's combined!" - Martin Folkman, THE MUSICIANS ATLAS

"An exhilarating mix of tunes that keep you wanting more. Front woman Tish Meeks has a way of grabbing your attention and not letting it go." - Madalyn Sklar, GO GIRLS MUSIC

"... with great songs, an energy-filled stage presence and solid chops, this is clearly a group to keep an eye on." - Eugene Foley, FOLEY ENTERTAINMENT

"tight, poppy perfection" - Noel Ramos, INDEPENDENT MUSIC CONFERENCE

"3 Kisses is refreshing. Their sound is different, their lyrics are thoughtful and their music is addicting...a band to keep your eye on....they are going places." - Alexia Helfand, MUSIC GORILLA

"It's not often that you can pop something in and like every track, but 3 Kisses has got it!" Duss Rodgers, CATSASK MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT

"Great songwriting. Catchy, poppy songs - a great mix of yesterday and today." - Jay King, VP of Classic R&B, THUMP/Universal

"... a winning frontwoman and some solid melody-writing chops...an indie-pop group to watch." - Brett McCallon, SPLENDID MAGAZINE

"I like their edge, energy and look. Interesting commercial possibilities." - Trebor Lloyd, City Canyons Records

"3 Kisses is a welcome throwback...I truly love the mix of older guy/younger 'brattier' gal on-stage. Fun band, good presence." - Aurora Rodriguez, THE LEDGER - Lakeland, FL

"Spunky, energetic!" - Ken Krongard, MajorLabelScout.com
