BEST TOUR STORY: While in the midst of recording a CD and having a VERY tough time...taking a break and going out to Joshua Tree National Park in Cali...I had a battery powered amp and tuned my guitar to an open tuning while letting the high winds play my guitar while it was propped on top a giant rock formation...It echoed all throughout the valley and was like no other sound I've ever heard before or since...a religious experience, truly. The mushrooms didn't hurt either. LOL

I've got a mole on my ass the shape of Henry Kissinger...it's very sexy! It actually speaks and sounds just like him in that gravelly low voice...and sometimes it even sings Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" pa pa pa poker face pa pa poker face Ma Ma ma ma!!!

I'll give you the band's story...
I came back from California after trying to be a rock star when Dave and I met through our friend Kumar who was a drummer. We started a band that fizzled out when everyone got lives and jobs. Dave and I kept doing things here and there and found some musicians to get a band going. Eventually we came across Lars who fit right into our vibe right away. After several band names and incarnations (the band has been like a Chameleon shedding layers and layers of dead skin constantly evolving and re-inventing itself), we then heard about Scott who drove all the way to Jersey from Minnesota in an old van that literally had hair growing on it just to audition. He also fit in instantly.

We rented a big old Victorian house in Newark NJ to live and rehearse in and after a while we caught the ears of WRAT a radio station down the shore in Jersey that began playing us pretty heavily. That, in turn, finally got us noticed by several major record companies and we eventually signed a deal with Warner Brothers. The band was called pete. (small 'p' and yes a period '.'). We made a record which took years and toured around a lot but eventually got dropped. We re-invented ourselves yet again with the same line-up and called it Sonicult. We made a CD which I produced that got the ear of producing legend Steve Thompson. He mixed it for us for nuttin' and we sent it around the labels and radio stations which began to play a few cuts. But we had some suspicious management and I decided to finally call it a day. It was an awesome ride. I pretty much had the time of my life and did everything I could ever want to do. It was the best life I could have ever hoped for during that time in my life.
